Facilitator Circle

An intentional space for exploring the “How-tos” of creating transformative events in devotion to collective liberation

We circle monthly on the Friday of First Quarter Moon week

drop-in, free, small group, Zoom

At the heart of Facilitator Circle is the belief that gathering for the purpose of exchanging wisdom is how we create the world we imagine.

The Facilitator Circle is more than a monthly meeting.

It’s a virtual space where we practice collective care & skill sharing so we can continue to facilitate without burning out.

Facilitator Circle is a practice space for:

  • Refining your event creation process

  • Crafting a facilitation ritual that nourishes & sustains you

  • Receiving strategic support for your events, retreats, & gatherings

  • Integrating your (un)learning into your facilitation

“Building community is to the collective as spiritual practice is to the individual.”

— Grace Lee Boggs

Facilitator Circle is for anyone interested in using live events as a tool for change.

We welcome all who identify as facilitators, event creators, or experience designers, including:

  • Artists, creatives, healers

  • Academics, consultants, trainers

  • Entrepreneurs, founders, employers

  • Somatic, movement, & wellness practitioners

  • New facilitators or those returning after a break

  • Those with deep ritual training or none at all

A facilitator, as I define it, is someone who creates & guides people through intentional experiences.

You might identify as a teacher, coach, guide, host, leader, mentor, or something else entirely.

Whether you're a seasoned event creator or new to facilitation, Facilitator Circle supports you in turning your ideas into action.

Your Host & Facilitator, Meghan Bursiek (she/her)

I’m a Ritual Witch and Experience Creator who bridges the gap between the mystical and logistical. I specialize in crafting intentional systems and transformative containers for world-changing events.

My work is guided by the belief that HOW we create matters.

My deep-rooted experience in festival production and event management, combined with my training in Whole Systems Design, Transformational Coaching, and Eco-Feminist Spirituality, informs my approach to creating experiences that are both impactful and nourishing.

By focusing on both the big vision and the tiny details, I help individuals and organizations design, produce, and manage transformative experiences that contribute to a more just and liberated world.

I’m deeply committed to exploring how the process of creating events can be regenerative.

Through my practice, I support clients in navigating the complexities of experience design with an approach that honors the well-being and growth of all involved, including those behind the scenes.

We are all students

We are all teachers

We all have wisdom that is important to share

Facilitator Circle is guided by the Phases of Ritual - my framework for creating an intentional container.

Phases of Ritual containers are Braver Spaces:

  • Consent is ongoing

  • Video or audio is welcome

  • Participate at your own pace

  • You can always change your mind

Our Facilitator Circle flow:

  • Join our Zoom space 5 minutes before start time to make sure your video/audio is working properly & to give yourself enough time to transition.

  • Answer some fun questions in the chat as everyone arrives – or – when we’re a smaller group, Meghan facilitates a casual conversation.

  • A simple mindful practice to help us pause, slow down, & notice the space we are co-creating together.

You can engage in this non-dogmatic practice in whatever way serves you.

There is no right/wrong way. Only your way.

  • Introduction from Meghan, sharing an overview of our time together.

Guided practice to help you clarify your purpose & intention for joining the circle.

  • Deep but brief: Share your milestones, goals, questions, challenges, or explorations.

Meghan answers "quick" questions in the moment & then wait until everyone (who wants to) shares so the theme of the circle can unfold.

  • Meghan facilitates a themed conversation based on the shared topics, including opportunities for sharing from the circle of:

    • Wisdom

    • Skills

    • Insights

    • Resources

    • Referrals

    • Questions

  • Guided practice to support you in uncovering what you most want to remember from your experience.

    Optional sharing of personal takeaways.

  • We conclude our time together with as much intention as when we started.

Everyone is invited to connect beyond the circle by sharing their contact information, and upcoming events, in the chat.

Facilitator Circle is not designed for “normal” event planning – because you are not planning a normal event.

Facilitator Circle IS designed to support you in creating intentional, transformative experiences that resonate deeply for all involved (including YOU).

Let’s disrupt the status quo, create “not-normal” events, & imbue our facilitation with liberatory values.

In Facilitator Circle, we practice a holistic & regenerative approach to experience design.

It's not only about ensuring things run smoothly; it's about designing experiences that are acts of transformation AND liberation for ALL involved.

Together, let’s explore how the Event Creation Cycle can be just as nourishing for facilitators as the event is for participants.

  • Yes! Learning about what others are creating will get you inspired and motivated to create action on your event idea.

We NEED your transformative experience out in the world!

  • I get it – we've all got busy lives.

You'll receive most out of the experience if you are able to attend the entire time.

  • Yes & No.

I record the Facilitator Circle, but only for my own biz training & IP development. If I use it for marketing, it's just my voice & image.

This means I don't email recordings if you miss the circle.

“What we practice is what we are. What do we say we’re practicing? What are we actually practicing? What do we want to be practicing? Practice is how we become what we long to do.”
